He was inspired by veteran gospel artists from East Africa, particularly Angela Chibalonza and Upendo Nkone, who influenced his decision to become a full-time gospel artist.
He started his music career as a guitarist and transitioned to a praise and worship leader, gaining confidence and developing his vocals. His first song was released in 2005, and he released the ‘Mungu ni Mungu’ album in 2015, a huge success in East Africa. He has released several popular songs, including ‘Mungu ni Mungu’, ‘Yesu Yupo Hapa’, ‘Mungu Hawezi Kusahau’, and ‘Yesu Bado Ni Baba’.
